Following
18 months of marriage, Lynette and her husband bought a 1940s
house. The first project on the drawing board was to put in a
new kitchen made by her husband, with cupboards/drawers finished
in a colour close to Resene Resolution Blue combined with white
walls and a wooden benchtop.
The kitchen in place, it was time to refurbish the lounge and
dining room. Resene Almond Frost now adorns the walls, a colour
that mysteriously changes from daylight to night-time and again
in low lighting. The built in bench seat was painted white and
joined by squabs recovered in red vinyl, the closest match to
Resene Red Berry. Natural lighting was improved by the addition
of the window and the complete room scheme has been rounded out
with brown leather couches to match Resene Sambuca and paintings
by Lynette featuring room hues and complements of Resene Red Berry,
Resene Sambuca, Resene Nero, Resene Almond Frost, Resene Raven
and Resene Norway.
