Monotone is gone
Val and Bing's home was already painted in Resene paint when the fashion was monotone. However, five years later, it was time to add some colour via feature walls in each room.

The main bedroom feature wall was created using Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen tinted to Resene Wasabi teamed with the existing Resene Half Spanish White walls and Resene Quarter Spanish White ceiling. The feature wall has been offset with accessories of purple, green and white lending a rich and warm ambience to the room.

The other main bedroom is nicknamed the 'Eastern' room. The freshly painted feature wall of Resene Zylone Sheen tinted to Resene Finlandia, teamed with reds, golds and purples, has brought the room to life.

With the Resene Quarter Spanish White applied five years ago through the whole house still in wonderful condition, Val and Bing had the luxury of just adding the colours they wanted rather than repainting everything. One small room has been treated to Resene Zylone Sheen tinted to Resene Hint Of Green to open the room up, the rest are now home to a feature wall in a varied range of hues.

Next to go up is the Resene Camelot feature wall in the lounge - Val and Bing can't wait to see this latest colour splash on the wall rather than in the can.
