Made with metallics Tanya believes that the experience of helping others with design and
chatting about colour enabled them to be a bit more adventurous with
their own choices. She has always loved the use of colour and how it
can make one feel alive. Being a bit more adventurous extended to selecting Resene Enamacryl Metallic features. Their painter was a tad nervous with the Resene Enamacryl Metallic tinted to Resene Phantom but in the end agreed that it looked great used next to the aubergine/timber/stainless kitchen.
Opposing this are walls of Resene Enamacryl Metallic tinted to Resene Solar and adjoining neutral walls/ceiling of Resene Bronco and Resene Soft Amber.
These tones are continued to the outside with the exterior plaster finished in Resene Squirrel combined with Resene Aubergine corrugated iron cladding.
Elsewhere in the house the Lea-Hunter family have continued with bold feature walls of colour such as Resene Wasabi and Resene Aubergine, while their 5-year-old daughter loves the Resene Flirt feature wall behind her bed.
And for once, Tanya gets to go home and enjoy the finish she has created rather than having to leave it behind in a client's home. Thanks to Tanya Lea-Hunter of Hamilton.
