Worn outTired and worn out, the old pinky apricot shade did nothing for the Matheson's character home. Determined to get the colour just right they tried testpots of Resene Colins Wicket, Resene Pavlova and Resene Sisal on the garage to determine which would tone best with the brickwork. After much deliberation, Resene Colins Wicket proved to be the winner as it seemed to bring out the mortar in the bricks and looked more dramatic compared to the other options. Once the main wall finish was decided the rest just seemed to fall into place with Resene Mocha on the downpipes and spouting to give the illusion of a bigger roof and help the piping to blend in and Resene Spanish White around the windows for a touch of neutrality.
Neighbours, friends and strangers are constantly admiring the finish as are the Mathesons! Inspiration gallery 2003
