Dream bedroom

Rachael’s master bedroom is the biggest room in the house as well as being the least straight in terms of walls/ceiling/floor. It was originally painted dark colours that did not go well together. Now, the colours complement each other and only stand out when you are looking at particular features.

The colour choice was changed last minute for this room when the original curtains ordered couldn’t be made. However, thanks to the Resene ColorShop, what has happened is even better than what was planned as the room is now peaceful and relaxing.

The new scheme grew around the lightshades. Rachael was not keen at first on the Resene Cedar, but the Resene staff were correct and now Rachael loves it and cannot see it any other colour. It works perfectly with the Resene China Ivory and Resene Gold Dust. Halfway through painting, Rachael realised that this is now her dream bedroom.
