All the children in Whanaketanga at Waimairi School painted. The design team were Bridget Baker, Jake Farrelly, Gabriella Barr, Addi Steven, Olivia Bloom, Amos Grant, Leon Harman, Maggie Hill, Rhy Lewis, Lachie Mitchell, Trinity Stokes-Skudder, Aaron Duncan, Maddy Hall, Zac Lang and Charlie Roddick.

Background to mural creation:
The school combined two of their class inquiries. In term they learnt about New Zealand’s native birds, followed by the term 3 vision arts themed inquiry.
