Metallic paints were first introduced to the local market by Resene around a decade ago, and at the time it was the striking dazzle of the Resene Enamacryl Metallic Blast Grey tone that caught people’s eyes. As time has travelled by, the desire for metallic finishes has tended towards the softer metallic sheen of the Resene Enamacryl Metallic Silver Aluminium tone. With the increasing popularity of the Silver Aluminium Resene has now formulated a new Fine Aluminium metallic, which uses a smaller metallic flake to give a superb metallic sheen without the dazzle of coarser metallics. It creates a softer metallic effect finish, ideal for those who love the sheen of metallics but perhaps don’t want to splash out on anything too dazzling.

The new The Range 2010 features a selection of colours off the new Resene Enamacryl Metallic Fine Aluminium tone, and other colours will be introduced in the future. And for those who like the Blast Grey hues but with a little less dazzle, they are now available for tinting into Silver Aluminium tone.
