Writing specifications can be a time consuming process, particularly when new substrates or coatings are desired. With endless combinations of substrates and materials, it is often difficult to know which system is the best system in each situation.

To simplify the specification writing process, Resene have introduced an innovative new method of writing specifications online - Resene EzySpec.

Resene EzySpec is based on the ever popular Resene One-Line Specification Manual and includes all systems and information from the existing hard copy manual held by many specifiers.

Resene EzySpec is designed to facilitate access to all parts of the One-Line Specification System by utilising the latest online technology.

To create a Resene EzySpec specification, simply select your substrate, answer questions regarding critical aspects of your project such as interior or exterior exposure, desired gloss level and existing substrate conditions and Resene EzySpec will select the system that meets your requirements. All questions are designed to eliminate potential coating system options until you are left with the one option that best suits your needs.

Specifications can be developed for each substrate and combined to create a complete specification with just a few clicks. The full specification can be saved and printed or downloaded to your computer for storage and further customisation.

Extensive information is included throughout the program to assist with system selection. Resene EzySpec features links to Resene product data sheets and material safety data sheets (MSDS) enabling you to quickly print and include these valuable technical documents with your specification.

In this fast paced world, we understand that you may have more than one project you wish to work on, so we have included functions that allow you to manage your own profile of projects. Multiple project specifications can be accessed within each session for maximum efficiency.
