From the Resene News – issue Winter 2001 All night long - Fortitude Valley Family Night
Club The bulk of the interior repaint was completed using Resene Lumbersider satin acrylic and Resene Zylone 20 flat acrylic. Popular metallics and textural coating trends were satisfied through the use of Resene Sandtex and Resene Enamacryl Metallic on feature areas. Not to be outdone, Resene Woodsman stain and Resene Aquaclear Gloss also found a place in the final finish to beautify and protect the natural timber finishes. The completed interior showcases the designer's thirst for uniqueness, delivered through the careful selection of decorative and specialty coatings to enhance the diverse nature of each individual interior substrate. Metallics have given the Family Night Club in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane
an extra reason to shine. With a brief seeking diversity of paint finishes
and colours, the final paint systems are indeed an eclectic collection
of Resene coatings. The flexibility of Resene specialty coatings enabled
the designer to select the desired finish and follow Resene's recommendations
for appropriate priming systems.
