Katherine Lawrence
Katherine Lawrence trading under the business name Little White Dog started her creative career when she wanted to try something different.
At the time she was living in the country. She had made a large garden, rock walls, willow hurdles and lots of needlepoint and was looking for a fresh way to show off her creative talents. Today, Katherine paints mats which can be used on the floor or as wall hangings. She finds inspiration everywhere.
Each mat is painstakingly painted with Environmental Choice approved Resene Lumbersider testpots. Katherine says “Resene has such an outstanding colour range that I can always find just the perfect match for the colour I want. The testpots are great for my work because I use different colours all the time so I only need small quantities of any one colour.” Each mat is unique and can be tailored to suit the home or building it will be going into.
