Water water everywhere - Wellington Water Treatment Plants
From Karori to Kaitoke and over to Wainuiomata, the Wellington Regional Council have a wide range of water treatment plants and pumping facilities requiring ongoing maintenance. The latest round of repainting projects involved sixteen individual sites around the Greater Wellington region.

Colour schemes, renders and specifications were prepared for all sites by the Resene Project Services team to ensure finish uniformity among the geographically diverse sites.

Exterior broadwall substrates were coated in Resene Sonyx 101 semi-gloss acrylic. Resene Enamacryl gloss waterbased enamel was used on all trim and joinery for maximum durability and block resistance. A corporate colour palette of Resene Edward, Resene Double Spanish White, Resene Eden and Resene Tuatara was developed for the sites with renders used to confirm the implementation of the palette at each site.

The tender process was also closely managed by Resene to match the needs of the client with appropriate contractor skills and resources.
