Colour: Resene All Black

"The mood for my idea was of a girl with her messy hair and stubborn spirit deciding to shake free and show her transformation into a woman. But transformations aren't always sweet and bright. Some are dark and murky, painful and pushing. An unravelling of lies she's carried in her body. A practice in facing her demons but showing you can love your rough edges and finally see the light, pushing her to stand up to her shadows and say she's not afraid.

Savage beauty, the beauty in the darkness. I wanted to show in my design that even if you're toxic it doesn't mean you're full of darkness. The light and dark are two different things, but we need both for too much light will burn us, while in darkness we are blinded.

I want to show that sadness and darkness can be a beautiful thing. Just because you're different or sad, it doesn't make you any less special than the rest."
