Colour: Resene Daredevil

"Anahera, the Maori word for anger. Being her parents first born the name seemed fitting, but little did they know how ironic this would become. Dolls and teddy bears were never a thought she would come across, as Anahera's fascination was for all things dangerous. From what started out as little journeys with the albatross eventually became voyages to the parallel universes that she hadn't even heard of before. Everything seemed unfamiliar to her, from the structures to the crazy vibrant artwork. However, this didn't faze her in the slightest bit. This was a girl who grew up with no fear. She was a daredevil.

My design incorporates the silhouette of wings on her back. The use of the energetic colour Resene Daredevil represents the adrenalin that rushes through her blood as she goes through her daring journey. The dart manipulation that has been added as a design feature on the top also shows that she has a fiery personality and is not afraid of drawing attention to herself.

I chose to pair my colour with a dark contrast in the pants to make it feel edgy and stand out from the crowd. This contrast also displays a bold and adventurous side, which is what all daredevils seek."
